Stephen Birman Recently Certified As A Specialist In Civil Litigation

Thomson Rogers is pleased to announce that Stephen Birman has recently been certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario.

The Certified Specialist Program recognizes members of the Law Society who have met established standards of experience and knowledge requirements in one or more designated areas of law and have maintained exemplary standards of professional practice.

Stephen joined Thomson Rogers in 2009 and since then his practice has focused on helping victims of car accidents, slip and falls and sexual abuse advance personal injury claims. Stephen prides himself on his ability to help clients understand and feel informed and in control throughout the various stages of the litigation process.

Stephen assisted hundreds of residential school survivors under the historic class action settlement for survivors. He is presently leading class actions on behalf of victims of COVID-19 in Ontario nursing homes and in respect of business interruption insurance claims.
