On June 2, 2017, Ian Furlong, personal injury lawyers at Thomson Rogers, teamed-up with the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) to raise awareness of the impacts of brain injury as part of Brain Injury Awareness Week. John-Paul and Ian manned the BIST booth at the Toronto Rehab Institute (TRI) along with Miranda Hong (Service Coordinator – Acquired Brain Injury at Toronto Rehab-UHN). Together they quizzed patients, visitors and employees at TRI on the serious impacts of brain injury, raised awareness for upcoming BIST events and ran a draw for Blue Jays and movie tickets generously donated by Thomson Rogers.
