Thomson Rogers fondly remembers Patrick D. Schmidt

Thomson Rogers is saddened to announce that our friend and colleague, Patrick D. Schmidt passed away on October 14, 2020.

Patrick was a partner at Thomson Rogers for 35 years leading our Family Law Group. Patrick was a passionate litigator with a legendary reputation. Patrick’s professional accomplishments during his years of practice are well known to all. Those who had the privilege of working with or against Patrick will miss him dearly. He was a fierce rival, a terrific mentor and brought out the best in all of us.

We at Thomson Rogers are grateful for everything that Patrick did for the legal profession and for his contributions to our firm. We are saddened that he is no longer with us. He was one of a kind, the epitome of excellence in advocacy and our very good friend.

Farewell Patrick and thank you for enriching our lives. We will miss you.
