Mayor John Tory proclaims June as Brain Injury Awareness Month in the city of Toronto.

Traumatic brain injury is the leading cause of death and disability of Canadians under the age of 40. Most Canadians do not know how prevalent brain injury really is or how much it can change lives.

Thomson Rogers’ personal injury lawyers Ian Furlong and Kate Cahill, members of the Brain Injury Society of Toronto’s Brain Injury Awareness Month committee, were at Holland Bloorview and Toronto Rehab helping promote brain injury awareness to the general public.
