Thomson Rogers Attends 2017 Invictus Games
September 26, 2017
Fortunately, most Canadians will never experience the terror of live combat that sees servicemen and women suffer life-changing injuries. These injuries are both visible and invisible, but serve as motivation for many as these men and women continue to fight through recovery and overcome new obstacles.
The Invictus Games is Prince Harry’s adaptive sport event for injured, ill and wounded servicemen and women and veterans.
Canada hosting the Games this year, as it celebrates the 150th anniversary of its Confederation, is no coincidence. It’s a unique opportunity for Canadians to commemorate and honour its ill, wounded and injured soldiers, and their families.
Thomson Rogers is doing our part to support these great servicemen and women in their athletic endeavours as they take part in the Invictus Games. On Tuesday, September 26th you’ll find a few of us supporting Invictus Games athletes at the Ryerson University Mattamy Athletic Centre (Maple Leaf Gardens) for the powerlifting event.
Good luck to all the athletes!
