CONFERENCE
Proposed government changes to the automobile legislation in Ontario will dramatically reduce available funding for the treatment of seriously injured survivors of motor vehicle accidents.
This conference will examine the impact of the proposed changes on the delivery of treatment to accident victims.
The conference will include speakers who will provide information about innovative treatment protocols and a review of the “New Guidelines for Moderate to Severe TBI”.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This conference will be of special interest to social workers, discharge planners, occupational therapists, case managers and other health care professionals who treat, advise and advocate on behalf of the brain injury community.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
Conference attendance certificates will be provided to all who attend.

In addition to the conference, the Ontario Brain Injury Association in collaboration with the Personal Injury Alliance (PIA Law) is pleased to announce the 2015 Awards of Excellence in Brain Injury Rehabilitation!
These awards will be presented by the Ontario Brain Injury Association to recipients who have been selected by their peers for providing exceptional service to the brain injury community in the following six categories:
1. Hospital Social Worker of the Year;
2. Case Manager of the Year;
3. Health Care Provider of the Year;
4. Community Brain Injury Association of the Year; and,
5. Rehabilitation Company of the Year; and,
6. Insurance Company (NEW)
