$3-million investment to fund discoveries that rebuild lives – On Thursday, November 3, philanthropists John Craig Eaton and Sally Horsfall Eaton announced the largest private gift in St. John’s Rehab Hospital’s history: a visionary $3-million investment to establish the hospital’s first-ever research chair in rehabilitation sciences.

New state-of-the-art outpatient wing opens to patients – It’s the moment the St. John’s Rehab community has awaited for nearly a decade. On November 3, 2011, St. John’s Rehab officially opened their brand-new, state-of-the-art John C. and Sally Horsfall Eaton Centre for Ambulatory Care.

LHINs approve proposed merger of Sunnybrook & St. John’s Rehab – The Toronto Central and Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) Boards of Directors have unanimously passed motions permitting the proposed merger of Sunnybrook and St. John’s Rehab Hospital to move forward.
