Burlington Train Derailment

Despite the numerous articles surrounding this tragic Burlington train derailment, little has been discussed about the rights and remedies of innocent accident victims against Via Rail, and any other responsible party.

The obligation of Via Rail is to ensure their patrons arrive safely at their destination. Via Rail’s obligation in this instance has in no way been met.

Serious questions have to be asked as to why a train derailment has occurred twice in this area.

We expect accountability, answers, and viable long term solutions from Via Rail.
