Biography
Julia graduated magna cum laude from the French Common Law Program (JD) at the University of Ottawa in 2023. She then completed a Judicial Clerkship at the Federal Court, working alongside a judge predominantly on immigration and refugee law matters.
Prior to her legal studies, Julia obtained a Bachelor’s degree (with great distinction) from the University of Windsor in Psychology with a Minor in French. Julia’s studies in psychology sparked her interest in Family Law, which she then pursued in law school by completing internships in the Family Law division of the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic and at a boutique Family Law firm.
Julia is happy to assist clients in all areas of Family Law. She is committed to employing a client-centred approach in her practice. Julia is attentive and aims to make her clients feel comfortable in navigating matters that are inherently personal and emotionally challenging.
Julia is dedicated to improving access to justice in French and can assist clients with their legal matters in both official languages. She can also discuss with clients in Spanish.
Julia is a proud cat mom to an adorable and energetic tuxedo cat. She is a lover of theatre and, in her spare time, enjoys being active by playing soccer and volleyball and doing yoga.
