Biography
Allahnah graduated with Honours from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2020 and was called to the Bar in 2021.
Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate studies at Western University with an Honours Specialization in Feminist Studies. She continued to further her passion for equity throughout her legal studies. Allahnah volunteered actively with Pro Bono Students Canada throughout law school and ultimately received the Jean Teillet Access to Justice award. She also has international experience, having travelled to her hometown of Nairobi, Kenya in 2018, where she worked as a legal intern to advise government agencies and private corporations on how to adhere to the newly implemented Constitution.
Allahnah articled at Thomson Rogers LLP before working for a prominent insurance defence firm. She ultimately realized that her passion lay with advocating for injured individuals and assisting them in receiving the compensation that they deserve to best recover following an accident. Her experience with insurance companies helps her understand how adjusters think and manage files, which assists her in getting the best outcome for her personal injury clients.
Outside of work, Allahnah is passionate about leading a healthy and adventurous lifestyle. She enjoys fitness classes, taking hikes outside of the city, and planning her next travel itinerary.
