GRAVELY V. KAWARTHA LAKES (CITY), OLT DECISION 2022

Representing our municipal client, Denitza Koev helped bring a decade-long dispute over the City’s official plan to a conclusion. This was a multi-party, multi-phase appeal hearing that dealt with the City’s first official plan since its amalgamation. The Thomson Rogers team helped the City navigate through this lengthy and complex process, resulting in a full and final resolution of the appeals. Among other things, this particular Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) decision determined the City’s boundaries for the 2031 planning horizon.
