Thomson Rogers Response to COVID-19 Update

November 23, 2020

In light of the new emergency order announced by Premier Dough Ford, we encourage everyone to stay home and stay safe.

We continue to prioritize the safety of our clients, our staff and our community. The safety of our extended community is of utmost importance and we are continuously and carefully monitoring recommendations from the Ontario Ministry of Health and other local authorities. We have closed our offices to the public but remain open as our lawyers and staff work remotely.

Thomson Rogers’ lawyers continue to be operational as they would in the office. We persist to work existing files and take on new clients. If you are in the hospital, we have lawyers available to meet with you. We can be reached by phone 1-888-223-0448, email or through our on-line consultation form.

Our pre-existing crisis contingency plan is based on our experience with SARS and MERS has been tailored to address this particular situation. As this situation evolves, we are committed to serving the best interests of our clients and community at every step. We wish to be clear, as far as we are aware, no one from Thomson Rogers has tested positive for COVID-19.

We are closely monitoring what is happening with the Ontario courts. If you are a current client and have questions about your matter, please email your lawyer directly. If you are looking for a lawyer, we are happy to discuss your potential case. Our phone lines remain open for new clients, current clients or lawyers who are looking to refer a case.

We care about you and are committed to serving you during this period of uncertainty.

We hope that you and your family stay healthy and safe during this difficult time.
