An SUV crosses the lane and hits a family head-on, causing a terrible accident in Sault Ste. Marie:

+Two-year old son, Devereaux, killed
+Mom, Wendy, rushed to hospital for emergency C-section
+Baby, Vereena, flown to Sick Kids for injuries
+Dad, Dave, mourning son, raising newborn daughter, caring for his wife in a separate hospital
+Mom, mourning, suffering extensive injures and still hasn’t met her baby yet!

= Tragedy + heartbreak + millions of dollars needed for a lifetime of challenges ahead.

Darcy Merkur will do all he can to help this family but in this instance limits on insurance will cap what they can get.

As he explains in this CTV article, the community’s GoFundMe, now over $260,000, is incredible but still not enough for the millions needed.
