PIA Law and Ontario Brain Injury Association are pleased to co-host 2016 Back to School conference on Friday, September 16 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto. The conference will once again be held during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

This year’s conference will focus on “Gender Challenges in Rehabilitation”.

Dr. Angela Colantonio (Keynote Speaker) – Professor, University of Toronto Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy
Featured Speakers:

Barbara Baptiste– President, Rehabilitation Management Inc.

Dr. Tina M. Trudel – CEO/Principal, Northeast Evaluation Specialists (New Hamshire, U.S.A.)

Dr. David Rosenbloom – Professor, McMaster University Medical Centre

In addition, Brian Cameron, Oatley Vigmond and Lindsay Charles, McLeish Orlando will discuss SABS Update: New Regime, Forms, and CAT Designation.

Awards of Excellence in Brain Injury Rehabilitation 2016

OBIA, in collaboration with PIA Law, will also be announcing at the conference the recipients of 2016 Awards of Excellence in Brain Injury Rehabilitation.

Recipients are selected by peers for providing exceptional service to the Brain Injury Community in the following categories:
