Biography
Elysia is an associate in the family law group and is committed to helping clients attain the results they desire in their family law matters. Separation can feel overwhelming, and Elysia prides herself on providing a compassionate and client-focused approach. Elysia works with clients to help them achieve their unique goals, understanding that every case is different.
Elysia’s passion for family law developed in law school, where she was a volunteer coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada and assisted family lawyers on pro-bono files. She was also selected for the University of Toronto’s competitive mooting program, competing and coaching in the Walsh Family Law Moot. In 2020, she helped coach the University of Toronto team to a first place finish. She and her teammates tackled complex parenting disputes and property issues in the evolving field of assisted human reproduction.
She graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law in 2020, receiving the Class of 1967 Prize for the second-highest average in her final year of law school. She graduated summa cum laude from the Arts and Science Program at McMaster University in 2017.
Elysia summered and articled at Thomson Rogers prior to joining as an associate.
