MCCORMACK V. EVANS

While working at the Department of Justice, Adam successfully defended the Attorney General of Canada at trial against a plaintiff seeking judgment for an RCMP investigation. The plaintiff alleged the RCMP maliciously prosecuted him, intentionally inflicted emotional distress on him, and committed misfeasance in public office. The Court found that the plaintiff failed to prove any of the elements of these torts and dismissed the plaintiff’s claim.

Adam gained valuable experience and insight working on the defence side of the bar. He brings his trial experience to cases representing plaintiffs.
