Overview
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Content & Marketing Specialist supports the firm’s marketing, communications, and business development initiatives. This role combines writing, editing, and content management (including website copy, email campaigns, newsletters, and more) with strategic project support, research and analysis, presentation development, and other related activities.
The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Marketing by developing and implementing strategic marketing plans
- Create, draft, edit, and publish engaging social media campaigns and promotional materials for the year and monitor KPIs
- Draft copy for articles, publications, events, website content (including SEO-optimized content), CRM campaigns, etc.
- Review, monitor, and evaluate paid search campaigns and support multi-channel marketing initiatives (e.g., Demand Gen, Performance Max)
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team on event-related items, including developing event‑related copy, brainstorming graphic designs that align with campaign objectives, and attending firm events
- Create strategies to ensure the brand is implemented across all marketing channels
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, facilitate meetings, and support project execution
- Coordinate with legal publications for paid and earned media, including writing copy for award submission, articles, and biographies, etc.
- Draft press releases and support media relations initiatives
- Assist in planning and executing monthly Marketing Committee meetings and act as meeting notetaker
- Maintain and update the Trauma Resource Directory, its social media, and other mailing lists throughout the year
- Assist with budget planning, monitoring, and managing project timelines
- Conduct research and remain current on market and industry trends
- Perform other duties as required
Education/Experience
- 4-6 years of marketing and communications experience in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation abilities, and online research capabilities
- CRM experience is required (HubSpot preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, etc., and the ability to learn new software and operating systems (e.g., Adobe Express, Kofax Power PDF, WordPress, Monday.com, Hootsuite, etc.)
- A bachelor’s degree is required
