SCIO Ski & Snowboard Day 2016

On February 11, 2016, Thomson Rogers’ personal injury lawyers, Craig Brown, Ian Furlong and Joseph Pileggi made their way to Craigleith Ski Club in support of Spinal Cord Injury Ontario’s Ski & Snowboard Day.

A fun-filled day was had by all with silent auctions, a buffet lunch, fun races, and complimentary Ski & Snowboard clinics.

Here is an inspiring article on one of 200 participants at the Spinal Cord Injury Ontario’s Ski & Snowboard Day, Leandre Casselman. Casselman participates in sit skiing. He personally sustained a spinal cord injury as a result of a gymnastics incident in 2000.

“There are a lot of things that you can’t do but ultimately if you set your mind to it, there is tons of stuff that you can do,” he said.
